FAQ

Frequently asked Questions

1) How do I find a caregiver?

Simply call the number, 703-433-0919.  Our administrator will review our services and charges with you, then he will schedule an appointment to meet with you and your primary caregiver, in the privacy of your own home.

2) What does the nurse do?

After the client has met with the administrator, the nurse will meet with you and assess your specific needs.  Based on your current status, the nurse will then develop a care plan, and arrange for a caregiver who will best serve you.

3) Will I always have the same caregiver?

Generally, yes.  A specific schedule will be arranged with one caregiver.  If you eventually require additional hours, then you may be assigned another caregiver to supplement the original schedule.

4) Is the schedule flexible?

We do ask for a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week.  It is always possible to increase these hours, as the need arises.

5) What if my caregiver and I have some differences?

Every effort will be made to ensure both the client and caregiver are as compatible as possible.  Of course, please do not hesitate to call the administrator or nurse should you have any serious concerns.

6) How do I pay for these services?

Payment with a credit card is preferred, although we do accept checks.  Senior Care Safe at Home adheres to strict privacy policies and we do not share any personal or financial information with other companies or organizations.
